We went to Monterey this weekend to visit the aquarium. I liked it a lot even though i went over pretty fast. After that we did 17 Mile drive and went by the legendary Pepple Beach golf Course. I wished it would have been car week and all the cars are on the course .
The Riverwalk in San Antonio is among my favorite Places I have seen in the U.S. it is beautiful in the middle of the city and kind of feels like a Urban Jungle.
From Fresno to San Antonio and Austin in Texas. We visited the Formula 1 track in Austin. The Circuit of the Americas. It was a super fun day with original Texas BBQ in the afternoon. Only bad part of the day was my smoothie that tasted straight like Guacamole.
The Airstrip of the Coalinga Airport was closed for this weekend. Cars where able to go as fast as they can on a quater mile. This Porsche GT3 RS was my favorite of the day.
We went to LA again :) :) :). And I saw it from a completely different perspective. You are able to see the whole LA skyline from the Griffith Observatory. LA looks so nice from up there. I feel like it looks better from far then when you are actually down there stuck in traffic. The Hollywood Sign is very good to see from the Observatory too. We ended the Trip again with a yummy Korean BBQ.
I went skiing again at China Peak. It was fun and the snow was still good. It was very warm, in fact it was so warm that I was able to just Ski in a T-shirt.
Morro Bay is probably the stereotype of California. Big waves, beaches and surfers are home here. Home in Morro Bay is also my hostmothers sister and her husband who took me kayaking in the Bay. It was super fun. In the evening we went to the Montaña de Oro State Park and watched the sunset. It was beautiful. This is a picture kayaking in Morro Bay.
The Rose Parade takes place before the Rose Bowl game on the first of January. The floats are all covered in natural materials. At the Post Rose Parade all the floats are standing and you are able to see them from very close. Sometimes you are even able to still smell the flowers which were used.
Magic Mountain is a super fun Rollercoaster Park close to LA I loved it and can't wait to go there again. Only problems are long waiting times for the rides, but still worth it. After a half day we decided to leave because the lines got to long. So we went to the Petersen Automotive Museum. Petersen Museum has new and old cars starting at the first one ever build ending up at the Jaguar C-X75 which was the stunt car in the new James Bond Spectre. I liked the old Porsche Racecars.
I visited the Yosemite National Park today. The view over the valley was was the most beautiful I saw in the U.S. so far. The mountains had snow and the drive trough the valley was like winter wonderland. I fell for this picture. It is down in Yosemite valley. Ice and El Capitan in the Background.
